Woot! The Sims 3 Create a World Tool is now out! It came out this morning, I downloaded it, had a few seconds play but then I had to rush off to school so I didn’t have time to let you all know! Update: Ok, I now feel abused :( Sorry guys – but unfortunately the Create a World Tool is yet again not coming out when expected. IGN removed the notice saying that it was going to be released today and claim that the Beta Tool will be out ‘shortly’. I just feel a bit upset but will definitely let you know if anything new comes up. Sorry if I let you down, I feel let down myself.

Just found from EA that there’s going to be another new update and the Create-a-World Tool will be available shortly within this month, December, here’s what they said:

Hey guys, a new Worlds category has been added to TheSims3.com – you can check it out yourself here. It’s quite odd that if you follow the page, you get lead to a 404 error, but this could just be a message that the Create-A-World tool is going to be released very soon so they are doing up the site in advance!
Or it could just be a small error..

This is looking good! SimTimes discovered that the German The Sims 3 Fanpage on Facebook updated with a message with information regarding the release date for the Create-a-World tool. It claims that the release of the tool is coming shortly, on December 10th to be exact! Here is what they said (thank to SimOperations for the translation & screenshot):
