GameZone’s Review of World Adventures

With an immense following and many years of success, The Sims has considerable renown in the genre of social simulation. Much of its popularity is owed to an excellent design, which is not only crafted with outstanding attention to detail, but also goes the extra mile to maintain a genuinely fun atmosphere. The ignorant bystander might find your average play session quite befuddling, and wonder about the strange language the characters seem to be babbling in. Yet as any Sims  [read more →]

Thanks SimOperations for the awesome review, it’s a must read for everyone! Continue reading the full review here.

World Adventures was released in the UK two days ago, on Friday and since then, I’ve been playing the game constantly. According to Raptr, over the release weekend, I’ve played 25 hours of the game, which is over half of my weekend. I’ve trailed out each destination and each skill, subsequently getting a good feel for the game. In this review,  [read more →]

The Sims 3 World Adventures for £24.96 at Amazon!

at 11:27 am in World Adventures by Nick · Leave a Comment »

Awesome deal from Amazon for The Sims 3 World Adventures, it’s only £25 in the UK and $30 in the US! Thanks a lot Amazon deal makers! So we can now save £5 or $10 for buying off Amazon, and they always have their free shipping so there’s no extra cost.

Unless, of course, if you want it by tomorrow which would cost a few extra pounds/dollars.

Head over to Amazon (US) or Amazon (UK) for the deal!

CinemaBlend released a nice story with some information regarding what you can do at home on The Sims 3 World Adventures, what happens when the travelling ends?

Since the release of Sims 3: World Adventures on Tuesday, I’ve been taking one of my Sims from place to place to see what each of the three countries included in the expansion pack had to offer. One of the big aspects of The Sims for me is everyday life for my Sims.  [read more →]

PrimaGames Visit Egypt in World Adventures

While working on World Adventures, I did not develop a favorite between the three destinations. Each location offers something special — a certain unique local flavor. It’s not just limited to the architecture either, which is definitely different for each location. Local identity is also quite personal. You find it in the little things. Egypt, for example, is the only place where Sims can buy a snake charming basket and then start practicing this special ability. The longer your Sim  [read more →]

Although it’s in German and I don’t really understand any of it, it’s a nice visual review with quite a bit of new things that I have not seen much of (like tents) which is quite cool. I’ll keep you all updated on all the new World Adventures news since the release of it!
