Has anyone downloaded or tried a downloaded world?  I don't have the stamina to build my own world, but wondered if anyone has tried one that someone else has done.

I must admit, I tried it but was not able to work with it easily, I may try again in a while as I've been pretty busy.

It's not impossible to use but it's just isn't very user-friendly for beginners. Let me know if you try it out :P

Yeh, exactly the same thing, it's kinda hard to use but would be cool if it worked easily.

I use and regularly post richdre's worlds on the S3F blog. They are beautiful and wonderful if you want to populate a town by yourself with no EA premades. Even if you want the EA premades in them, it's easy to package them from RV or SV and plop them into the new hood.

If you're interested in using some downloadable worlds, keep an eye out on the blog for my creative content posts. Some of them will be nice worlds I've found for you to enjoy. ;)

As always, you rock Ashleigh.  I'm coming to the end of my legacy and am considering an apocalypse with your rules.  I was looking for that type of world.  However, even if I don't go for something that extreme, I think I want to start whatever I do decide to try in a totally new world with new Sims and new locations.

I'm actually building an Apocalypse world for the Apocalypse Challenge. It's just coming along slowly. It's going to be base-game compatible and designed to function smoothly on low-end machines, so I'm planning on making that world the standard world in which to play the challenge (with exceptions for people who can't download it for whatever reason).

I figured since I made a standard, to-the-rule-book shelter for the challenge for those people who didn't want to build their own, I would make a standard world as well.
