Hi guys, new to this forum.

I have a problem with the new EP.  I was running sims 3 (base game) fine all last week.  I bought world adventures which updated my game and I applied the latest patch to WA through the download manager

When I launch the game, the title movies play fine, then on the loading screen it is just blank with a little grey square on it and the yellow writing along the bottom just all blurs in.  I get to the neighborhood selection screen and I notice the options menu, the last selection is all numbers and stars, as is the top right button.  When i try to start a new game or load a neighborhood it crashes at about 20%  eg, the music stops and 3 seconds later the program closes.

If anyone has any idea what may be causing this, please help.

Regards,

Perry.

Hey there, welcome :D

I'm no expert on fixing crashes and I'm no technician but the one thing I can suggest is a full reinstall of both World Adventures and The Sims 3 Base Game, you can try just reinstalling WA first if you don't want to reinstall the Base Game but that just means that it will take longer if it doesn't work.

I can't really suggest must else, it usually helps and I hope it will in your case, just try reinstalling and let me know, if the same problem occurs I can try contacting some people or see if anybody else has had the same problem.

Let me know how it goes,
Zach.
